Phil Burthem - Jarl Ulf-Eirik (1961 – 2012) was the founding leader and guiding light of the Jomsviking brotherhood from its inception to his untimely death. He was dedicated to improving the standard of re-enactment and the live representation of the early medieval period. He was also determined to spread the enjoyment of a revival of viking culture to the four corners of the globe, regardless of considerations of ethnicity, creed or gender. Following Ulf-Eirik’s death the Jomsvikings have committed themselves to follow these principles to make the Jomsviking Brotherhood ever stronger and more influential.
